I think Tony Iommi and his impending hand op will free Ronnie and the boys to get back as Dio and do some shows and recordings. Whilst its been a bit behind the scenes he has mentioned several times that he wants to do Magica II and III and that some recording has already been done.
Mark my words before next summer is out we will be buying tickets for Dio shows........personally I cant wait!!!! |
Eddie Van Halen said it took him about 4 months to get over his operation.
So lets say it takes Tony Iommi 6 months...we don't know when he is having the operation.
Would be great to have the DIO band back together |

I think the real question is what will become of H&H as I think they will do this tour and stop for a while allowing Ronnie to get Dio up and running again. I know with the lawsuit and everything going on that many people think Sabbath is dead - but I dont think so......I wouldnt be at all suprised to see an Ozzy Led sabbath touring again in 2010.
i dont really care as long as Ronnie is out there doing something you can count on me being there giving it my all!!! _________________ Stand up and Shout!!!!! |

I dont mean to discredit anything that Heaven and Hell did the last 3 years. But, I would admit I am a "Dio" fan, ABOVE any version of Black Sabbath. And, if Dio got the guys back together with a new album and tour, then no one would be happier than "I". |

I have to say I started as a Dio fan before I heard any of Ronnie's Black Sabbath stuff. I've thoroughly enjoyed the two Heaven and Hell shows I've had the opportunity to see, and I've really become a big-time fan of H&H. But it would just be a dream-come-true if Ronnie joined back up with Dio for a tour. Preferably a tour of small, up-close-and-personal venues in the US, with a stop in Lubbock, TX...one can only dream!
Man, my heart would probably explode--but that would be alright, as long as it happened after the show...
Anyway, can anybody tell it to me straight? What are the odds of a US tour by Dio in the near future? _________________ "You'll never make me be like you. I'm Master of the Moon!" |

LOL! I reckon the odds are fairly good - H&H have not announced anything further (other than Geezer suggesting a UK tour early next year).....Personally I really want to see the Dio boys back on the road............. _________________ Stand up and Shout!!!!! |

Well, I'll take odds of 5 to 1! Although certainty would be so much more comforting...
In the meantime, I'll continue to dream. _________________ "You'll never make me be like you. I'm Master of the Moon!" |

If Shron can prop that bufoon of a husband up and he can mutter into a mic may a Sabbath tour might happen I don't care if it does or not as long as Ronnie is making kick ass music and I get a tour with the album I'm Happy as a pig in shit the only thing I'm disapointed with is Dio Fanclub members can't get backstage but other then that all's good _________________ there's a big black shape looking up at me ,and says hell is where you ought to be he come with me i'lll give desire but first you got to burn burn burn in fire with all of you |

To my delight I also heard Dio talk about doing Magica 2 & 3...
Wow, imagine....would have loved to have heard heard those.
I also had hoped that someday Rainbow might actually get together for some shows. I'd have walked on water to see those.
RIP Ronnie |
