Two best Dio albums. What do you guy's think? Which do you prefer?

It are the two most popular Dio albums, not the best in my opinion. The best Dio album is Dream Evil, if you ask me.

I always think Last in Line better. Seems more polished and better planned.

Also Holy Diver sounded kind of old only few years after it came out.

I agree I like Dream Evil better than those two.

I think the "song " Holy Diver is the best Dio song . But as an album
Last In Line is better imo . It has better riffs and solo's also .

Last in line beats holy diver hands down,sacred hearts good,but dream evil I didn't like that's when I stopped buying Dio stuff.

"I" is the best dio related song since The last in Line in my opinion Exclamation

Kind of surprised to see the polls so close. The way you hear people talk I would've thought HD would've run away with it. But I also voted for The Last in Line, my favorite. Perhaps a Last in Line Live Dvd/cd Ronnie?

While you're at it hows about a remaster as well?

Songs are not only way better on HD but so is the production. If you compare the tracks, HD is one classic after another. With Last in line, I would personally consider tracks 3, 4, 5, 6 & 8 as really good at best but definitely not classics. That's why I'd have to go with HOLY DIVER--loved the cover art better, too.

Both good albums but I think The Last In Line is slighty better.

LAST IN LINE is a great record, BUT HOLY DIVER STARTED IT ALL! "YOU'VE BEEN LEFT ON YOUR OWN, LIKE A RAINBOW IN THE DARK!
