Well, I didn`t make it to the Sweden rock Festival to see Heaven and Hell perform as headliners the last night (saturday 6:th).
Instead I had to take my 11 month old son to the emergency for two days with a concussion.
In a way I feel kind of relieved after reading/hearing the comments and reviews from the show. Obviously the sound was just Awful!
Also people were dissapointed with the setlist and short performance.
The band (Dio and Appice)was to meet the people for signing a few hours before the show. This was anounced to be a 30 minute-signing but the enthusiastic crowd who had been waiting for up to 4 hours was told the signing had been cancelled in the last minute!
The band later appeared for a 15 minute signing though...
As I couldnīmake it there I had my sister bringing a picture of my son to have it signed by Ronnie. He has been named Dio after "the Man" himself. I just can`t imagine how dissappointed I would have been if I had been waiting there myself...
I Really hope the return to Sweden so that I finally can see them play live . It would be real cool to meet and show the picture of my son to Ronnie. Guess that will stay a dream...
