What a show.
Was up in Glasgow to see the Gods themselves and did they deliver?
HELL YES!
Testament did a fine job, never really got into their stuff but they aren't at all as bad as I was expecting, lush guitar work!
Megadeth, sounded fantastic but weren't really as active as Testament.
Crossing the border, without a huge wall and Shotgun wielding patriots in your way. ROFLMAO
3 hour drive.
and what for?
The Priest Feast.
A Tour featuring Testament and Megadeth in support of Judas Priest!!!!!
Testament
Megadeth
Sorry for not commenting too much on the support, the night was all about Priest and kicking the shit out of some Scouse twat who kept ramming into me.
When the appetisers went down in style it was time for the main course.
The One, The Only, The Mighty, The Fantastic
Judas Priest ;D
Opening with Prophecy and Halford appearing from inside the stage dressed in robes.
Quickly the song faded into history as they roared into Metal Gods!
With the Metal God himself doing his Metal God Walk to boot.
Now came a surprise, Between The Hammer and The Anvil!
The drum, the guitars, the riff and THE SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM!
The song was incredible, Halford on peak form and suddenly.
"A Song From The British Steel Album"
BREAKING THE LAW!
So the night was already well under way with every minute being incredible as the last. Not letting up one bit they played surprises like "Eat Me Alive" "Sinner" "Dissident Aggressor" as well as "Rock Hard, Ride Free" EVEN "ANGEL" !!!
Alongside the likes of "Green Manalishi" "Electric Eye" and "Hell Bent For Leather" with the night ending with "You've Got Another Thing Coming"
Was surprised only "Prophecy" and "Death" were the only Nostradamus features last night though.
Amazing night from all 3 acts and my first time seeing the Priest and dman well worth it to see Halford on Top form, even if "Painkiller" was underpar vocally but can't blame him, the thing is so demanding for anyone!!!
FINALE!
Prophecy's climax
The Metal God "Walk"
His scream caused my camera phone to break!
*boom*
Hrhrhrhr
The hardcore part of "Death"
LOUDER!
WHOA WHOA WHOA YEAH!
All in all, amazing show and I really need a better camera phone. |
