| I have been a lively contributer to this site since it began but I am dissopointed in it recently, the last news post on the site was late AUGUST, SOME 10 WEEKS AGO,this is not good enough, go to any website of artists well less respected than Ronnie and you will find updates daily, at the worst weekly, the last update on this site was 10 weeks ago and that is not good enough for DIO fans. |

There will be updates when updates come available, the band "DIO" as you know is not doing much and has not been doing much with H&H on the road or in the studio ect ect.
As for H&H they have their own website now I believe its http://heavenandhelllive.com
Last inside info I got was that the boys were headed for the studio.
Rest assured when there is news to post it will be posted. _________________

I don't come here for updates...I like to yak with people about RJD and other topics, so it's still worthwhile to me, however, it is RonnieJamesDio.com, so it seems that any news about the man, not the band necessarily, would be appreciated by die-hard Ronnie fans....just my 2 cents _________________ "...you were a fool but that's cool, it's alright!" |

I moved the topic.....
This is not really about Ronnie James Dio but about Stargazer posting another discouraging and negative topic.
So for DIO FANS not happy about no updates please use this topic.
Thank you! |

Not sure what the Dio forum has to do with the news updates on RJD.com. The site itself is run by Niji. Who knows if they even look into the forum to see what people are saying. Even if there are no updates on the site, it still serves its purpose as a point of exposure for the artist, sure there are better run sites, but there are also a lot worse. I agree that this probably has more to do with Heaven & Hells site being up, and this being viewed as the Dio (band) site. Could be wrong, but it would at least make sense.
If you have discontent with the way the site is run, send them your comments maybe they will remember to post updates after you remind them that this site is still up and running. _________________ Check out Al Diamond Phillips/Nevermet on the web

Folks in the Niji office do look at the forum along with current and ex band members also read the forum.
I also send news about the forum from time to time to the office. |

| Updates are interesting, when they are interesting. I'm not looking only for updates, I enjoy to "talk" with people who love Dio as I do, to know different points of view and I learn a lot from people in the forum. |

I agree with the general concensus here, it's not just about the updates, it's the friendships that have developed that matter.
Any self-respecting Dio or Heaven And Hell, oops sorry, Balck Sabbath; The Dio Years, fan is aware of just what is happening regarding Dio (the band) at present, and knowing this site's admin, if any news is worth posting, it'll be here.
Well, not in the forum, per se, but in the news section, if ya know where I mean............

That pretty much says it!
By the way Nurse Ratched i love your new avatar, a chick with a chain-saw, I almost never see that even up here in Oregon. But is that Cotton wood you're cutting!? ... never mind closer look shows it's not, looks like large Lodgepole. _________________ GUITARGOD |
