How many albums has dio sold in his lifetime including elf, rainbow, sabbath and dio.
also does anyone know where i can lookup online the sales of individual albums that could help alot.

you are asking the impossible.
I doubt there are any records how many albums Elf sold before they released their first LP "Elf"

well lets just try to get a general idea county only offical albums not counting eps and singles and whatnot. |

Counting Only DIO..
I got 24 cds,5 dvds,1 vhs,1 cassette, and 12 lps..
Hey,everybody..Add the number of cds,dvds and lps you got here and then in the end someone can count the total number of sold albums..lol
just a lame idea i got..  |

well we have to keep in mind that the official number doesn't present how many copies are sold really, like for instance in middle east, china and whole lot of other regions there no copy rights.
i have about 12 copied tapes, 2 copied dvd's, 8 copied cd's and vcd's, with an mp3. only 2 original cd's. and 1 original dvd.: (
awful i know but that's the truth. and not many ppl around here obtain originals.

I got an idea!  How about all of us on the forum post what Dio albums, concert videos, etc. that we have? ...... Just kidding! But I'll still post what I have. I have all the Dio full-length albums from Holy Diver to Master Of The Moon, 3 live albums, two compilation/best of albums, and 4 DVDs. And that's just Dio. I have most of his stuff from Rainbow and Black Sabbath too. |

I don't think he has sold 20-25 millions.I know that Holy Diver and Last In Line sold a little over a million copies in America only.I'd say maybe somewhere around 6-7 millions(including Rainbow and Sabbath).
@jester .Only Dio the band 25 millions!!!Impossible.Other than his first 2 solo albums,none of the others sold more than 500.000/each.Not even Sacred Heart and Dream Evil.And those 2 were released in the 80's when he was at the top.The last couple of albums(Magica,Dragon,Master) sold somewhere in the 50.000-100000 mark. |

Holy Diver reached 1 milion in US only 21 years ago...
