| I would love to see Dio hit gold status again he has given so much of himself to the music business. He deserves gold status. The music and radio business has changed so much. I don't think radio stations play what they should be playing . The rock radio stations seem to play certain artist once in a while then play the same songs. In Philadelphia the only song I ever hear is "Rainbow In The Dark" by Dio I love this song but he has other songs just as good that should also be played. All the music this man has given us over the years and they keep playing the same song. His other hits should also be played. I feel radio stations are such a business it is all about ratings and not enough about the music or the artist! |

If we consider that the new ACDC and Guns n Roses albums sold so many copies ( 2 albums that are below the standards of the two bands) why not hitting a gold status again _________________ Video games are bad for you? That what they said about Rock 'n' Roll... |

Blabbermouth has posted a news item reporting that...'The Very Beast of Dio' was certified GOLD by the RIAA on 11th March 2009 for sales in excess of 500,000......
Nice one...sure hope 'The Devil you know' follows suit..... |
