1. Ronnie James Dio.

2. Bon Scott.

3. Rob Halford.

Would have said Axl Rose, but he and Guns N Roses played more like Rock N Roll and not Metal.

Only three is hard to choose. I'd say as far as metal vocalists go my favorites have to be:

1. Dio (Sabbath Era- I Love it all, but he was the best on Mob Rules)
2. Jon Oliva (Savatage)
3. Tom Araya (from the most "Metal" band of all time)

Hey Marshall...you mentioned you like Dickinson's solo stuff...I saw the Tattooed millionaire tour front & center stage at the phantasy theatre Cleveland ,Ohio...I got the whole show recorded on VHS...you should see Bruce belt out "Son of a Gun" live!!!

A few more great albums from Khan he might move past Bruce. Dio will always be #1.
