I read somewhere that Dio and the rest of the guys were going to work on Magica 2... is this true? hope so at least

i'd love for him to do Magica 2...i too heard some rumors ,but can't remember if they are true or who said them...

I read it in this interview with Craig... so it should be true...

Ronnie has said he wants to do it, but he is very busy right now, so who knows if it will ever happen.

kind of hopes that he continues with Heaven and hell, but also want him to do more with the band...

He did say long ago he would focus on DIO with Magica II and later in the year work with Heaven and Hell for whatever they have planned.
Here's hoping for guest appearances from the sabs on the Magica album! Something like the anti climax to the pits of despair or a song so evil it NEEDS the sound of Iommi.
That is what I hope for.

Don't hold your breath. He can sell a lot more records and play a lot bigger places in Sabbath, so he's going to ride that pony for as long as he can. I'm guessing that MOTM is going to wind up being the last Dio album. That's okay; Sabbath is better!

i love the Sabbath thing and am looking forward to a new album from them but I really hope Dio will go back to doing his own stuff and record Magica 2. Thats actually one of the main questions I want to ask him this weekend if we actually are allowed enough time to speak for a few minutes. And also assuming that I don't shrink and become speechless in the presence of the master!

I guess one reason is my own greedy reason, I've never seen a Dio concert. As great as the H&H thing is and I feel privledged for getting to see it, I want to see my favorite Dio songs done live as well. The other reason is it's so nice to see them all getting along and playing together and enjoying it. I'd rather see them decide to stop then to go to a point where it's not enjoyable to them anymore or even worse them not getting along.

Damn I'm excited, I'm usually pretty cool about meeting famous people but this is different. My idol, my god, my dio! I hope I don't become a blubbering idiot!
