I was really impressed with the set last night, the lack of Sabbath songs made for quite a few surprises. I was kinda disappointed when they ended Temple of the King so quickly, but only for a few seconds until I realised what it was leading into!
There was one funny moment right before Rainbow in the Dark when Dio announced: 'this is Don't Talk To Strangers', turned his back to the audience and started walking towards the back of the stage and then suddenly stopped and said 'No it isn't, we've already done that one, Rainbow in the Dark!' _________________ Rest in peace Ronnie James Dio |

Interesting.
I can understand he wants to focus on the solo material while doing the H & H project kind of simultaniously. |

same at the Astoria. fairly short concert, about 90 mins, but worth every minute of it!...
Some news: Girlschool are releasing a new album in the Summer, which I wouldn't care about if it weren't for the fact that RJDio is singin one song in it! They played it, but sung by them. A fast track, pure heavy metal, it will be a must I think. I don't know who wrote it though. |
