Well someone had to do it..............!!
As the chance of a new album before the guys hit our shores is pretty remote its likely to be a greatest hits show - so what tracks would you like to see/hear the guys play? I'd like to hear:
Light in the Black
Kill the king
I speed at night
King of Rock n Roll
Evil on Queen Street
I'll stop at those 5!!!!! Really I'd like them to do every track Ronnie has ever recorded and then produce a DVD box set of the show.....!! _________________ Stand up and Shout!!!!!

So many songs I would just love to hear.. but if I had to come up with a shortlist, it would have to be:
King of Rock and Roll
Killing the Dragon
Evil Eyes
Shivers
Sacred Heart
I Speed at Night
Anything from Magica
Also, it would be nice to hear some more Rainbow stuff, hopefully Stargazer, maybe Lady of the Lake? |

Everything, not just Dio, Rainbow and Sabbath stuff, actually everything.
I guess I'd really love to hear One More For The Road above anything, and then Why Are They Watching Me, Lady Of The Lake, Hungry For Heaven, Caught In The Middle, All The Fools Sailed Away, Tarot Woman & In Dreams.
It's really hard not to list more... _________________ Rest in peace Ronnie James Dio

no Sabbath please, we had that last year, as good as it gets. To spell it out:
no Heaven and Hell
no Children of the Sea
no Sign of the SOuthern Cross
(all songs I love)
please, some rare Rainbow and Dio songs! Such as Temple of the King (complete, not just a little bit), Self Portrait, and, why not, Rainbow Eyes! |

I agree - Sabbath stuff has had more than its fair share of exposure in the last 12 months. A smattering of Rainbow (Kill The King would be an awesome opener) and the rest just Dio.
Some stuff off Dream Evil please!!! |

I'd love to hear Ronnie sing 'Country Girl',as he hasn't performed it since 1982 on the Mob Rules UK tour.
Plus 'Lady of the Lake' as i'm pretty sure that Rainbow never/rarely performed it live.. |

As a first time Dio goer (missed my chance to go to the Holy Diver Live tour), my personal ideal setlist would be something like:
(No order)
Stand Up And Shout
Children of the Sea
Holy Diver (Duh )
Fever Dreams
Push
Rock'n'Roll Children (Shut up! I LOVE that song )
We Rock
Rainbow in the Dark
Long Live Rock and Roll
Heaven and Hell
One Night In The City ( )
Hungry for Heaven
All The Fools Sailed Away
Hungry For Heaven
Good mix I think. |

Seriously though, I have to say - I know it's not likely, but it would mean a HUGE amount to me if Dio played Rock and Roll Children at the Birmingham date. It's a hugely inspiring song for me and very close to my heart thanks to certain experiences and my interpretation of the song. |

I'd love to hear Rock and Roll Children too, it was the first Dio song I heard and is just great in my opinion.
Maybe if they projected the music video on a backdrop it would be even better... or maybe not. _________________ Rest in peace Ronnie James Dio |

The video was great and iconic for its time, and the idea of it is still massively strong today. And Dio as an all-seeing dark wizard type! What's not to like?
Although it IS quite funny at the start, with that guy backing half a mile down the street, pointing the whole time. |
