I have been in contact with the surviving members of Blind Robins, and it looks like there may be a Reunion on the horizon. Blind Robins recorded eight songs in late 92 to early 93. The band disolved before the album was ever finished. However, I have always said this was my peak in my songwriting. We were a Heavy Metal / Grunge band. Now before everyone says, oh I hate grunge, let me be clear that we were a Heavy Metal band that tuned down like grunge bands did. Now Metal bands tune down all the time. At the time most grunge bands were tuning down to D, but we wanted our sound to be dirtier than other bands , so we went to C sharp. The result was just a very cool and unique sound.
We are talking about writing a few new songs to finish off the album and release the material after 14 yrs. This is very exciting, and I will keep everyone posted. _________________ Check out Al Diamond Phillips/Nevermet on the web

I talked to Mikey from Blind Robins, and we are going to work on a new song together. probably a cover, but Blind Robins had two very good covers that we recorded. So I am very excited, and you never know it might spark some new material. _________________ Check out Al Diamond Phillips/Nevermet on the web

I was actually thinking Nevermet would perform via the web using a T10 line and just syncing up the broadcast in real time. I've heard it can be done. _________________ Check out Al Diamond Phillips/Nevermet on the web
