| Alt, you might like this; http://ongoinghistory.com/oghonm/ongoing_history_of_new_music.cfm?ell=6743&pge=1# It's a continuing weekly show on the evolution of rock. Maybe it's not overly exciting, but if your kicking around the house doing spring cleaning on a Sunday, it's a interest show to listen to while your doing that. That is the website that has the saved files of the shows. It plays on mp3 or podcasts. I actually listen to it on the radio on a Toronto station. The signal reaches some of the states. 102.1 FM The Edge. |

Randy!! My favourite guitarist ever Michael Schenker as a close second.
I really love him, the riffs and some solos sounds so good, and is really creative. _________________ Gather the wind, though the wind wont help you fly at all, Your backs to the wall. |

This is comparing apples to oranges. So it's a stalemate! Mr. Rhoads playing was more theory based with lots of creativity to match! Van Halen's music was much more blusier and free. Rhoads took musical theory on the guitar to a new level. Van Halen kinda took the musical rules and pitched em. Both had chops for days! Both were/are guitar legends forever! _________________ "The old ones speak of winter, the young ones praise the sun and time just slips away..." |
