Im sure this has been posted, sorry if so...
I've seen Dio 12 times throughout the years, just curious what are your favorite shows?
Mine would be 1 of 2
The last in line tour, Chicago/1985, mostly because not only was in my first Dio show, BUT also my first metal show. The stage was great, The sound was Great, and at 13 years old I was blown away!!!!!
2nd would be the Angry Machines tour in Medina, Minnesota. It was in bowling alley, we were jam packed inside, and it was the absolute loudest concert I have ever been too....and The band no more than 10 feet away was incredible!!!
I haven't seen "BAD" dio show, but those 2 are my fav's |

Unfortunately, I have only had the pleasure to hear Dio live once at Heaven and Hell in May 2007. I would of seen him more, but it's kind of hard when you are only 14 years old =/
Hopefully I will see him again when he tours with his CD that he is working on _________________ "Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. What do you mean by Dio playing in a bowling
alley?
Never heard of midnite Dio concerts. That would
be cool though. After midnite the King sings! _________________ Voodoo |

That was my reaction when I walked in, We walked in and it was a bowling alley downstairs. Then the line of people led upstairs, and it was a large bar area above the bowling alley. I couldn't believe it myself, but then it was all forgotten as soon as Dio hit the stage, out of all the times I have seen Dio live I have never felt like I was so close, it was incredible!!!!! |
