why do i love the song stargazer so much?????? this song rocks/kicks ass!!!!!!!!!! this my be the best song ronnie has ever done!!!!! even though there are so many great ones!!!!!
anyone feel this song as much as i do?????? |

Maybe it is the emotional appeal. Not just in the lyrics but in the music as well.

| Stargazer is also my favorite song that Dio has done. Just great singing, great musically, great lyrics and great everything. Just my favorite hard rock song of all time and my favorite guitar solo of all time. I loved that he started playing that song a few years ago. Hope it stays in the setlist for years to come. |

| I love stargazer because ronnie's voice is so clear. I really love when he sings clear like that. I love his growl/metal voice, too, but I'm just blown away when he sings as clearly as he does in stargazer. |

Stargazer........such an excellent song!
Amazing drum intro, solid guitars, inspiring lyrics.
"There's no sun in the shadow of the wizard........."
Side note, Ive always admired the keyboard work on this song. Im not a big keyboard fan, but it sets the mood perfectly on this track. It reminds me of what newer black and doom metal bands from Scandinavia are presently doing. I know it might sound a little odd, but I can hear Rainbow influences in Dimmu Borgir.
