No one gets fewer concerts that Utah. The Wiggles aren't even playing here for God's sake
I was surprised when Queensryche played here...had to jump on that one. As far as I know, Dio played a long time ago in Orem, Ut or somewhere, but no one ever plays here. The Mormons must scare the metal heads away _________________ "...you were a fool but that's cool, it's alright!" |

| Hello, I am new to this board and I wanted to comment that I also hope that DIO will be touring the states as well soon. Specifically, Northern California. A Heaven and Hell tour is also desired soon. Ronnie James DIO is the most talented writer and vocalist, in my opinion, in this epoch. Let's lobby for a U.S. tour! It seems like promoters overlook U.S. metal fans. What can we collectively do to demonstrate that there is a market and audience domestically? To bring back heavy metal to the forefront as it was several years ago? Any ideas? YouTube had a fantastic Ronnie James Dio interview wherein he was discussing this type of music in the U.S. and referring to the American Idol type of fanbase. I visited Birmingham England in September 2006 and it was so inspiring seeing heavy metal fans everywhere in close proximity. |

DIO will be doing a small tour this spring,as for Cali dates I've yet to hear of any.
HEAVEN and HELL are in the studio now working hard at what they do best! H&H tour in the works (possibly this fall).
Keep your eyes on the Tour section and the news section!

Thank you Rhonda for the reply. My spring is pretty busy, however, if Dio is marginally close, I will definitely see him. I saw him at the Filmore several years ago. I will keep checking, this artist delivers so many ideas and inspiration regardless if he is performing or engaging in an interview. I am going to listen to him all day long at work today as well. I am wrapping up my masters' degree in the next several weeks and it will be nice to return to recreational writing and art that I enjoy which have been in suspension given the work involved with this degree. Ronnie is a beacon of light that assists all underdogs. Three more weeks of a difficult, irrational and pompous professor that I have been beholden too! I am almost released from bondage. Have a great day Rhonda and all you DIO fans. |

| No, I did not. I have been engrossed in studies and work for years and occasionally I will hear announcements on the radio for concerts. I did not even realize that the band formation Heaven and Hell was performing until I bought the cd covering radio city music hall! I could have kicked myself for not keeping informed. I never got to see that lineup in the 80s. I will see them again for sure this time. It was probably nothing short of awesome, am I right? Do you work in the industry? I am in the legal field myself. |

The above are three of my favorite videos of RJD. I love the improvisations with these songs during the Milan show. Rhonda is this concert available on CD or DVD from RJD? I absolutely love and am interested in purchasing. RJD is always incredible but I really love the concert versions of these songs, his movement, dancing, etc. Please tell me if is available for purchase. I want to have CD so I can listen to in my convertible. |

Milan 16 November 1987 is available as a 2LP bootleg called "Where Eagles Blare" - beware, there are two 2LP boots with that name, the other one is Stockhom 1984; this one has a red cover, although it also exists as a 2LP pic disc boot. I have all versions, it's not hard to get on ebay, they show up on occasion, and for modest prices as well, I'd say $20-$50.
There are also CD boots from this show. I haven't bothered to buy any.
As far as I know it is not available officially. |

| Thank you for the response nunoni and thank you for conducting research Rhonda regarding the topic as well. I will probably begin exploring some other threads within here. Most of you are probably far more knowledgable about DIO and Ronnie James Dio than I and I am probably certain to learn alot. |
