I've noticed a connection between Dio's music and Stephen King's Dark Tower Series.

For example:
Stephen King's Dark Tower IV: Wizard and Glass
and Dio's Sacred Heart: "Oh here we see the wizard staring through the glass..." Wink
And of course Rainbow Rising's Stargazer mentions "...in the shadow of the wizard.

Or Master of the Moon's "The Eyes" or more recently
If you read the conclusion of The Dark Tower you'll know what I mean.

Of course many artist have inter-connected their works for some unknown reason. My theory is that they are looking for someone.
Someone has even gone as far as to suggest that they are looking for Jesus Christ...but I think he was just kidding Laughing

Any takers?

Unless Stephen King listens to DIO, I highly doubt there is a connection given the time frame between cd's and books.

They may be fans of each other, and have inspiration because of that. Not that they are, but its possible.

King could have been inspired by Dio's earlier stuff, and RJD's newer work could be inspired be kings work.

We'll never know, but anything is possible.

I like the parallels between the two. I like the kind of music and literature that lets you imagine new things. Especially the way the both affect our dreams.

Jose De Jesus Very Happy
