'Selling England...' is the best studio effort by Genesis, just pure magic. But I admit that the Collins fronted band also had its moments, most notably: A Trick Of The Tail. The Land Of Confusion and Momma (spelling???) are two of my favourite songs of the Collins period. We Can't Dance was quite solid, being an art-pop effort rather than an average pop collection of songs...
Phil is an underrated vocalist: in fact he has quite a range, and power is still there. His vocal melodies are really difficult!
One of my favourite bands. |
