Been getting into these the last few days, they're the pioneers of "Folk" Metal but there's a lot more to them than that. Some very deep song writing and killer vocal work from Martin Walkyier who used to sing in a Thrash Metal band caleld Sabbat.
A lot of this music is full of folk and thrash as well as classic NWOBHM elements with some very metaphorical and pun based lyrics and rhymes in a kind of poetic sense.
This band is so different than anything I've really heard before and seems to be very under rated and unheard of. Brilliant bass playing too! |

his voice may have to grow on you(Martin Walkyier). I don't know any of the stuff with the new singer.
