I chose these 2 albums just because they are my personal favs by Metallica......
I won't break them down track by track.....but what I did was......when I got this idea lastnight, I decided that today, I would listen to R.T.L on my way to work.....and M.O.P on my way home......
My Vote goes for R.T.L , simply from the standpoint of which I enjoyed listening to the most....

My vote is for MOP, just because the production was so good. They re similar albums from the band at there best period IMHO. I prefer many of the songs on RTL over MOP, but by this album Rassmusen really had the bands sound figured out, They should have stuck with him instead of letting Bob Rock ruin their sound

That's a tough call for me. Ultimately, I have to go with Lightning, as that was my first taste of Metallica way back when.
