Why is it that the Killswitch Engaged version of "Holy Diver" is available on Itunes, and the better Dio Original is not. They can be seen on VSpot on VH1.Is it the Price? $1.99.
I know sometimes there are other considerations, like Directors,Music Companys,Other Rock Band members.
This is true on Itunes where none of Dio's early work can be found, and many discs are just partial albums.(I have the CDs put on my pod already. It would be nice to have an remastered version with bonus tracks.)

Would be cheaper buying remastered version of the Holy Diver cd plus you a get a bonus interview from Ronnie. |

I don't know about itunes (I still just buy CDs) but I do know that remasters usually suck. What they do is compress all the dynamics, crank the bass, and jack the levels way up. Have you listened to the Rainbow or Iron Maiden remasters? They sound awful. Bonus tracks usually suck too. They're usually tracks that were left off the original album... and in most cases were left off for good reason. |

To watch Dio's Holy Diver on Youtube, you can click on the Nevermet link below you will go to Nevermet Run Away. In the side menu you will see Sunset Superman, click on it. When you get there, go to the side menu as well and go down to Gypsy, click on that. When you get there go to the side menu yet again and go down until you see Holy Diver.
I could just give you the link, but that wouldnt be as fun
As far as itunes goes, that is up to RJD himself, he and his record company would have to release the album on itunes. Not sure why he has not done this, but I'm sure he will eventually. _________________ Check out Al Diamond Phillips/Nevermet on the web
