| Greetings to everyone from Russia. I would like to say some words to a man whose music opened for me a new universe with a taste of deep emotions, passion of youth, longing for the world of more colours. But since the year 1990 this world found new colours, dark ones. Ronnie James Dio never lost his great talant and also his aristocracy (I never heard him swear). But his music lost that young flight to the stars that I could feel in Heaven and Hell, Die Young, Hungry for Heaven, We Rock, One Night in the City, All the Fools Sailed Away, I Could Have Been a Dreamer and many others. I never say that I do not like everything that he did after 1990. But it feels like he has been disillusioned in life. I want to say just one thing. Devotion of the fan never dies. it is not women and it is not vogue. It is the brotherhood, binding people with each other by intimate secrets shared with confidence. Ronnie James Dio, you needed forever. We, fans, expect new art from you as soon as it could be possible. Long live. |
