I know quite a few people on here might not be into these guys but i love them! Any other Fiends? Favourite songs at the moment are Skulls, London Dungeon, We are 138, Die Die my darling, Helena and Pumpkin head. What does everyone else think of them? _________________ If I speak at one constant volume. at one constant pitch. at one constant rhythm.

I have a complitation LP, and also a double live on cassette. The Ramones crowd really likes them a lot (check out joeyramone.com if you haven't yet - great board with really cool people!)
The Misfits are pretty cool - kind of psychobilly rather than punk I think. I'm sure they were great back in the days when Glenn Danzig sang for them!
PS: You can tell on their recordings that they recorded ridiculously loud!! The poor microphones are cowering down in fear! Unfortunately this gives a pretty crappy studio sound. _________________ Bass guitarists hold it all together. |

I think they ar epretty good with either the Evil Elvis himself Glenn Danzig or Michael Graves as each incarnation offers a different yet equally good experience.
In fact its through just discovering Danzig (the band) that I have also checked out the misfits again.
My fave tracks would be Last Caress, Hollywood Babylon, Bullet, Die Die My Darling, Saturday Night, Helena, Forbidden Zone and Scream at the moment. |

Nice choices Stained Class, Scream is stuck in my head almost constantly lately, along with Dig up her bones. I persdonally think Graves is a better vocalist, although with Jerry Only now on vocals, they aren't quite as good haha _________________ If I speak at one constant volume. at one constant pitch. at one constant rhythm.
