At least thats what we chanted back in the day but, it's the farthest from the truth.Primus has/had an energy in concert that caused you to jump up and down untill your shoes fell apart. They are masters of that tribel sound while still keeping a rock and roll vibe. Only metallica's Master Of Puppets song would cause the fists to fly and the mosh pit to open.
Les and Ler are still jamming together and sometimes herb pops up in a current dvd although primus as a band are not currently together. long live the name of this bizarre but earthy band. _________________ "You can turn it upside down" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nx3w3Bskmh0 |

Used to have Sailing on the Sea of Cheese. I'm a bassist and Les was featured ALL THE TIME in Bass Player magazine. I thought they were fun and quirky, but the recordings were very low budget and I always wondered what the fuss was all about. I don't think Les is the bass god he's made out to be, but hats off to them for being original!!! _________________ Bass guitarists hold it all together. |
