What is the smallest size gig you have seen Ronnie James in. For instance i've seen ronnie at the Village Night club in Lancaster,Pa on the Strange Highways tour, it held about 500 people and was very intimate.

Well i've only seen Dio once and that was at the Astoria, London.
It holds about a couple of thousand, i think. It was great because Dio gave me the sign! Yes! Yes! Yes! 
That wouldn't have happened at wembley.

The title of this topic pisses me off  
My forum name used to be diodreams, but I changed it. I don't want ANYONE to think I named this...it implies that it is about Ronnie's height or someones dick...
I don't know who scrolls thru here, but some know me as diodreams and may take offense to this...
HM, can we either change the name or get rid of it??? You didn't like the title either and I am suprised that it is still here.

if memory serves, dio performed at a club called, 'the ballard firehouse' here in seattle in the '90s... it only holds 100 or 200... 300 tops
a ladyfriend of mine said she was at the show and got to speak with ronnie afterwards... she was in tight with the club owners...
she told me that ronnie was a really great guy... they are both italian-american so i'm sure they had a lot to talk about...
wish i'd been there... |

Okay, small venues...I like that...
Here is a pic of Dio at a small venue in San Diego in the late 90's...my hand is circled. I couldn't believe I got that close to RJD!!!

Actually it looks smaller than it was. The place was completely packed...so much so that I made it up front to the wooden barrier and almost got crushed by the surging crowd. I looked at the pictures for weeks in disbelief that I had actually gotten that close to RJD...I have since met him about 4 times so I laugh at this pic

Dio playing at small venues is a blessing. 
i saw the Dio-McSabbath Dehumanizer concert in Cleveland, at the Nautica Stage on Lake Erie.
'twas a relatively small outdoor venue.
Dio ~ go solo a third time and please come to The Cove
at Geneva-on-the-Lake ~
