I don't know if anyone has posted anything like this, but has anyone noticed that in the song, "Death By Love" (from Master Of The Moon album) Ronnie mentions names of other songs he wrote? I think he mentioned: Gypsy(Queen), Evil Eyes, Wishing Well, Sacred Heart, and The Eyes. Was this intended? Or just a coincidence?  |

He's done it before in other songs.... in the song ''My Eyes''
I've fallen off the edge of the world
I've seen it from heaven and hell
I've seen it from the eyes of a stargazer
I want to be invisible
Could the dreamer be turning to stone
I think its just Ronnie having some fun with what song titles from other songs he could get into this song,maybe he had a bet with someone  |

Ahh, clever old Ron ey!
That reminds me of the song 'Victory' by Megadeth, he mentions quite a few songs in that!

Oh yeah, I forgot about that song. My Eyes is a great song. You know what? Ronnie having a bet with somebody definitely sounds possible. |

I think the reason the song titles are in My Eyes is because the song is about Dio's experiences, but I always put it down to coincidence in Death By Love. Also, when Dio says anything about 'the eyes' there are many songs it could refer to, particullarly the one I'm listening to at the moment: Why Are They Watching Me.

Ronnie has always been such an interesting lyricist, love the lyrics off 'Death by Love' and the whole song rocks in general.
