I'd like to see Ronnie work with Yngwie Malmsteen. I know that he has said in the past that Yngwie isn't a very "band" oriented person, but I think that they work great together. They did "Dream On," and that sounded better than the original in my opinion. But Yngwie is such a talented guitarist, and Ronnie is such a talented singer, I just am in love with this combination!

I'd love to see the following line-up if we're talking about what could possibly happen if the circumstances were right -
Vox - Dio
Drums - Bobby Rondinelli
Bass - Jimmy Bain
Guitar - Jake E Lee
Keyboards - John Lord
If we had a time machine (=*) however, without a doubt I would love to see:
Vox - Dio
Drums - Cozy Powell*
Bass - Rudy Sarzo
Guitar - Randy Rhoads*
Keyboards - John Lord |

mature choice of jake e lee, quite a loss that they never performed together, i wish thu; sometime in the coming dio band that there would be two guitars instead of one, so there goes jake e lee..
sine dreamin already i would imagine john chaffer so we get the galloping rythems along with dio music, especially that john declared his ambition to perform with R.J. Dio "hear that somewhere"
Rudy sarzo is a a good bassist.
i guess and i hope too that Vinny Appice will appear in the coming Dio line up as usual after black sabbath reunion ! _________________ Don't live for pleasure, make life your treasure.... Fade away |

It would be cool if Dio and Meat Loaf had a duet. They both have that intense and over-the-top style to their music. _________________ The dark that you find in the back of your mind! |

I'd like just to see him working and to hear him singing, no matter with whom! I already said this in another topic - Ronnie knows what to do and always gives us his best! _________________ I'll carry on to do it right, or... get out! (c) Cozy Powell

| I'd love to see Dio become twin-guitar band and pair Craig Goldy with Doug Aldrich, I mean Dio's never had a bad guitarist in my opinion and the combination of Goldy and Aldrich would rock. |

| Guest Appearance with Priest on their upcoming album, doing a duet with Halford, THAT WOULD BE INTENSE, and part of my life complete. |

Aldrich doesn't work well with another guitarist... in Whitesnake he completely elbows Reb Beach (who is if anything the better player) off to the side. That said I think Dio would probably do better with two guitars live. There's usually at least two guitars on the albums anyway. I just don't think Aldrich would be the right choice. |
