Just a quick note on last night's show im Glasgow...full review later but all I can say that after what is now 11 or 12 Dio in Concerts,I have seen, this was one of best ever performances
It was amazing. Ronnie was incredible
The mixture of young and old as well made it a great night...I think a lot of the first timers where flabbergasted at just good Black Sabbath's music with Ronnie was.
Its hard to believe the Tour is ending the band sound like it was just the beginning of the Tour and not the end.
Full review later!
Mob Rule...welcome to the forum. |
They rocked man. I creamed when I realised the were using a different set (Mob Rules to start).
I got me a plectrum!! _________________

Nice to be here. I signed up a while ago but the old computer was toooo slow! Any time I tried to post it wouldn't let me. Now got broadband and a new lease of life so I'll check in and contribute more now.
I'm pleased you got a great gig up there in Glasgow too. The form the band were on down here in Newcastle did bode well for more good gigs for the rest of the tour. What a band!! I've had Mob Rules on non-stop since the gig. Ordering the DVD now. _________________ 'I think I'm way outside illusion

Good to hear you enjoyed the set....the highlight for me was Falling off the edge of the World and of course Heaven and Hell...we made plenty noise during that song.
Was strange not hear folks chanting ''Sabbath''
But Dio's name was chanted a couple times.
Spyke Forget to tell during Lamb of God...the singer did mention Celtic and Rangers during the last song he wanted the fans to act like a Celtic and Rangers game gone bad
Neon Cross
Can't wait for the Dio band to hit the road now!
Folks will be wondering why there has not been a lot sales of the dvd in UK...thats all down to folks waiting for this tour...I bet anything now sales start to rocket.

| I only recognised Burning Times and Ten Thousand Strong, not an occasional listener of The Ripper Owens stuff. |

I doubt it, but did Iced Earth do any of the Matt Barlow stuff? I would love to hear Melancholy so much! _________________ If I speak at one constant volume. at one constant pitch. at one constant rhythm.

aparently they have done similar things at other venues as well. its just daft if you ask me it has nothing to do with music and could lead to alot of problems. meshugga tried to stir fans up at a gig once before by mentioning a local football club and they ended up causing a huge fight and the band got battled off the stage. very stupid move.
anyway dio was brilliant one hell of a good show. might have improved slightly if it was at the barrowlands but hey you cant have everything. _________________

Manchester show tonight - Sure I'll see a couple of you there - you all know what I look like - come and say hi! Don't ask what I'll be wearing - no idea probably something black with black. The hat may make an appearance if the wind dies down a bit. I'm not chasing it all over Manchester! _________________ Along Came A Spider..... |
