Lets see. I used to play bass (would really like to get another one I miss playing it). Right now I own two guitars. The first one I got was from Wal-Mart their first act series thing. Then Guitar Center had like a sale on their Squier 51 for $69 so I snagged it. I love that guitar. I don't play very well but I love it anyway. I'm sure speed will come after I learn accuracy.

That's the cool part about playing...you don't have to be really good to love doing it. Wink When i first started it did drive me nuts at times because i wanted so bad to really smoke like the pros. but i still loved playing, pasage of time alone will do wonders for how you play.

Getting ready to buy a bass and an amp.....I wanna be on the front of the stage for a change instead of buried behind my drum kit. Plus it will help me write new material.

Rock On RB Very Happy Before you know it youll be way up front on the Vocals. I'll play drums for you when that happens. Ive always loved the drums. I have a pretty good sense of timing, but never had the time and effort to put into the chops. I sometimes play and sing with some buddies of mine, they arent very good, so I dont feel bad about my limited drum skills. I have a bass, and between me and my son we have eight guitars now. I have said before my kit is just a cheap DW pacific, but I love to bang on it. My son has been down in the basement this summer playing, and he's playin beats that sound pretty good! He is going to play acoustic guitar in my annual Christmas show this year, Im pumped!!! We are going to do John Lennon's Happy X-mas. Its going to be a great father son moment.

My oldest son was a great baseball player. I played college ball and 2 years in the minors and was the coach of a traveling all star team when he was 14. He was pitching in the bottom of the 9th and they had the tying run at 3rd and their best hitter up. He worked the count full so I called time out and went to the mound. I told my son to through a high and tight fast ball, my son disagreed because the kid was a dead fastball hitter. I told my boy to trust me it would all be ok.....needless to say the kid was looking off speed and got smoked! We won the state championship and as I lifted my boy in the air, he whispered in my ear...I love you dad, you never lead me wrong.....one of my fondest memories for sure.

My kids are my life and are why I gave up my music career when my band was on top....no regrets though because I have 3 of the coolest kids ever.

I hear you! I walked away in 94, and was at the top of my game. I made a choice to be a Father and a Husband, it was a tough transition, and sometimes I still sit back and think of what might have been, Okay I think about it all the time. The thing is I have no regrets. I have so much more meaning to my life with my family. Sometimes they are a pain in the Ass, but they are great. Now when I think of making music and any money that may come with it, it is for my family. I dont dream of anything more than the best for them. Which is good, because I aint makin any money anyway.

Thanks man, one guitar was all tube set up on the pre-amp and power amp and one was tube on the pre-amp system and solid state on the power end, each works rather well but the all tube has bigger balls! Laughing EQ's set just so and all that blah blah blah...you know. Wink
