This is one of least favourite tracks on Mob Rules. The singing is great, no question I just don't particularly like the song. |

I never have liked it. I like the quiet section better than the main part. Maybe it's the riff, I don't know. Maybe it's that Ronnie follows the riff with his singing, which he doesn't usually. No idea. Just doesn't grab me, I thought it was thought of as a filler track or one of the 2 weak points of the album (the other for me is Slipping Away) by most - I guess I was wrong! Seems most people are fanatical about it! I feel like an old man now, saying - "I don't get it!" _________________ Along Came A Spider..... |

I like it but it is probably my least favorite of that band. Either that or TV Crimes. Those 2 would be the last songs I would like to hear live.
Most people I know don't like it, and a few like it and think of it as filler.
I actually liked it a little bit when it came out, didn't like it for many years, and started liking it more than I ever have as of about 3-4 years ago. |

I have to agree with "Slipping Away" being a weak track though. _________________

I think Country girl is a great song, it always reminded me of a chick i used to be sweet on that lived in the country. _________________ GUITARGOD |

Country Girl is a great song, in my opinion is very near Dio's Rainbow. _________________ Who cried for the children?

This is one of my favorite songs from Mob Rules, but I have to say... Dan Swano and Peter Tagtgren did an AWESOME rendition of it on the Holy Dio tribute album! _________________ Black Sabbath RULES! \m/ |

It's a kickass song. You just have to know an evil woman to understand it. The riff is fucking awesome. _________________ Chase the horizons, catch the illusion

This song rules.
I like singing it to annoy my wife 'cos she's from the country. _________________ Clutching to monsters in shadows, 'cos monsters always know....It's better in the dark! |
