Keep in mind that Pavoratti was only seventy one. Ronnie is Sixty five. No one is expecting Ronnie not to be around , but in the back of you mind you have to think about it as he gets into that age bracket where anything could happen at any given point. I want a new Dio album. I love the old sabbath stuff, but Dio has a far bigger and better library of his work without Sabbath or Rainbow. _________________ Check out Al Diamond Phillips/Nevermet on the web

Although Magica was a great album I'm not in such a hurry for part two with everything else going on in the world I think a album of just great Dio songs would be better. I would like to see H and H do something, But its been to long without a new Dio album and North American tour I understand that the US tours don't sell like they did compared to Europe where he still sells like he did here in the 80's but us die hard fans of 30 + years should get our tour I never missed a show of his since my first one when he joined Sabbath sometimes multiple shows depending on how close to CT he was and I've never been let down although I like Simon and consider him a friend (we talk through email) I feel Vinny is the only drummer for Dio thats been my only disapointment _________________ there's a big black shape looking up at me ,and says hell is where you ought to be he come with me i'lll give desire but first you got to burn burn burn in fire with all of you |

I'll just be happy with a new studio album, regardless of who he writes and records with. In an ideal world I'd love to see both another Dio album and an album with Sabbath but as I say, I'd be hapy with either.
Also given his age, I'd like to see him focus more on recording new material and and having longer breaks between shows to maintain his voice and avoid any Ozzy-like quality dips live performances - which has nowhere near ocurred yet but as time marches on the demands on Dio must only increase and I would rather see fewer shows per tour and multiple smaller blocks of touring cycles to ensure Dio is at his best each show and delivers to the benchmark that he himself has set.
Any this seems too gloomy - even for me so Long Live Dio!
Keep on rocking! |

I haven't bought Master Of The Moon yet, so I'm pulling more for the Heaven and Hell album, I'm just desperate for a Sabbath album of any kind, I'd gladly buy another Gillan album. In an ideal world I suppose we'd see an Ozzy Sabbath album and Magica II next year, and then H & H after that.
Regarding Dio's age, I think he must be the oldest of all the seventies heavy metal vocalists with about five years on Ozzy, Lemmy and others who are still recording, and still has the best voice! _________________ Rest in peace Ronnie James Dio |

I am just looking forward to ANY Ronnie James Dio studio stuff either it be Sabbath or Dio...I don't care it would be good if we got another Sabbath cd...or Magica 2 and 3.
ps You need to get Master of the Moon |

Yes, listen to Holy about getting Master Of The Moon. At first I thought it was too slow and plodding, but after several listens, it quickly became one of my favorite DIO albums. _________________ Sit on it, Potsie. |

Even if RJ Dio dies, he will live on in his music! Elvis is dead and people still listen to his music... Ray Charles is dead too and people still listen to him... If someone die's, it doesnt mean that we can't enjoy in their music! _________________

Bloody hell next you will be getting the tombstone ready.
Ronnie James Dio is not gonna quit...while there is fans out there who want to see him or buy his music.
The Great man himself will know when the time is right and he has a lot things he wants to do before he even considers retirement.
I Didn't mean he would go anytime soon but even in 25 years he is running out of time. I don't think Ronnie will stop untill hes dead (probably die on stage lol) I just wish he would put out as manny albums as he can. My guess is we will see 6 more albums from Ronnie but I would like to see alot more.
You really think there's going to be six more albums? Not so long as he's doing an album every three or four years. The man is 65; he is not going to be able to continue forever. Six albums at the current rate is 20 years worth and if you think he'll be recording in 20 years you're kidding yourself. If we get two or three more we'll be very lucky. At least we know now that we'll be getting one more with Sabbath, which is always where his best work has been. If there is another Dio album (and there may not be) I doubt like hell it'll be with the current line-up; between recording and touring he'll probably be doing Sabbath untill at least the middle of '09 and sooner or later those guys are going to have to start looking for other work. And to the guy who's hoping for another Rainbow album... don't hold your breath. |

OOH THAT'S GREAT . . .
WHAT THE . .
cap lock was on sorry.
ooh that's great ~
another black sabbath/dio album.
of course i'm glad about the supposed dio solo cd thing.
what are you talking about yes dio is forever! ~
although he is the same age as my mother.
but she doesn't sing quite as well and hasn't
saved anyone who went down elevators to hell.
not to my knowledge.
(people who've never seen the videos won't get this)
as a recording artist wannabe myself i know how difficult
it is to put together one *good* album.
to begin with. ~
just for it to be 'ok' takes some work/re-dubbing etc.
not to mention the writing process, etc.
RJD always puts his best ~ into his works ~
(i bet some sourpusses out there would like to
disagree with me on a couple cd's)
does Dio make blogs??
i remember a diary that was at this site before
~
maybe he could write a random hate-bible book like
stephen colbert.
just kidding ~ that guy stole Dio's eyebrow pose. _________________ first in line to listen to last in line |

Dio was great with Sabbath but it just doesn't compair to his solo career. Ronnie isn't going to live forever and I would love to see him put out another few more albums before he leaves us (hopefully another 20 )
I don't like to think about a world without Ronnie. I just can't emagine haveing no more Dio albums to look forward to. |
I know. I feel the same way... But i have seen some interviews where he makes it perfectly clear that Dio is finished. sry mate. |
