I dunno what it is about really.. mystical lyrics to me. But so are a lot of Dio songs to me. Well.. most of Dio's lyrics fit the music very well.. These words just flow with that kind of metal. Like little "evil" fairytales.

I love the the Sunset Superman song musically though. Great guitar riff and singing chorus on that one! Smile

This is indeed a great song, but then again this can be said about practically all songs on 'Dream Evil'. I think it's about a vampire.

It's a play on words.

Donovan's third album and title track was called "Sunshine Superman".

same to me guys.i love that song alot too.
could it be about how people manage in the dark (i see from the song theat the Sunset supermen is strong in the dark),you know,people should be stronger in the dark..after all Dio in the end starts sinning " Anybody Can..Everybody Can...Sunset Superman..."
