I love Heven and Hell and all but I think it's time to end it and for Dio to get back to working on a Dio album.
Dio was great with Sabbath but it just doesn't compair to his solo career. Ronnie isn't going to live forever and I would love to see him put out another few more albums before he leaves us (hopefully another 20  )
I don't like to think about a world without Ronnie. I just can't emagine haveing no more Dio albums to look forward to. |

| In a recent interview (excerpts were cited here on the forum by Holymagica as far as I can remember) Dio stated that he was going to record another Magica album before he called it quits. So let's keep our fingers crossed. However, until the end of the year he is busy with the H&H stuff, so it's probably going to be late 2008 or early 2009 when the album is ready. I think we can expect 2-3 more studio albums from Ronnie. |

Bloody hell next you will be getting the tombstone ready.
Ronnie James Dio is not gonna quit...while there is fans out there who want to see him or buy his music.
The Great man himself will know when the time is right and he has a lot things he wants to do before he even considers retirement.

It's amazing he's lasted this long really (in the music business I mean)........especially when you look at someone like Ozzy.
Dio can still cut it live and in the studio so I reckon he'll be making albums for a little while yet. I'm expecting both Magica albums (probably in mid-2009) and a new Sabbath album. Maybe a Rainbow reunion *fingers crossed* After that who knows.........I guess he can't do it forever........ |

Iommi and Butler said that H&H will go on after this year and that's the possibility that they'll release a studio album too. This news made my day today! It would be my dream come true a studio album by H&H... as I always say, Heaven And Hell (Sabbath w/ Dio) are my favourite band ever!

I Didn't mean he would go anytime soon but even in 25 years he is running out of time. I don't think Ronnie will stop untill hes dead (probably die on stage lol) I just wish he would put out as manny albums as he can. My guess is we will see 6 more albums from Ronnie but I would like to see alot more. |

Could you please give us the source of the news? Where did you get that from? Personally, I would love Ronnie to do another Dio album rather than a H&H one. One thing for certain: it will be great to listen to some new studio stuff from The Master.

| I'm all for a new Magica album, but you have to wonder will Ronnie really do a another Magica album with all the events that have occured in the past few years? I mean, there's a lot of stuff he could write based on all the crap that's going on in the world. But to me, it wouldn't matter if Dio did another magica album or a politically charged album as long as he's making something new. |

Iommi, a week ago, said another thing too... he said that a Black Sabbath reunion with Ozzy won't happen next year for two problems.
First of all, Ozzy is busy himself, moreover Iommi is busy with Heaven And Hell...
Now I'm sure that H&H will go on!

But I'm happy even if they don't write any album but if they go on doing other concerts...
of course a new album would be the best thing!

First off you make it sound like he's got one foot in the grave. Ijust recieved and Email from Simon he was telling me that some work has been done and expects that in Jan the band should be off and running full tilt on a new disc

That's very good news man. I do in fact think that Dio should give priority to his own band and release the sequel to Magica before any more work with Heaven and Hell.
For all that, a Heaven and Hell studio album would be a good thing too! |
