I would like to add one thing though and perhaps it was just the tower city gig. Unfortunately Megadeth had a better sound than Heaven n Hell that night. They ( sound crew) just pushed the board up too high, it was fine where it was. Was hard to hear Ron sometimes. _________________ Do not worry about the bullet with your name on it, worry about the one that says, "To whom it may concern.."

Hey there Mr. Peaceman,
Thanks for the info on the sound quality at that show, my brother and my nephew(10 yrs old, his first rock show ever) went to the show at the Allstate Arena, in Rosemont IL, right by O'hare Airport, just outside of Chicago. I had some legal trouble at the time that prevented me from going. Anyway, that kinda doesn't surprise me the sound board technicians had the right settings for Megadeth and didn't correct them for Heaven and Hell. I'll have to ask my brother if he noticed better sound quality for Mustaine and the boys at the Allstate arena show.
So i totally love the type of guitar work that Tony Iommi has always done with Dio as he does have a whole lot more bluesy type of sound than Mustaine or Glen Drover but those guys can play their speed metal talents around Iommi fast enough to make him spin on a dime at the speed of sound.
Yes im preferential to classic metal than i am to any type of classic, foreign, american or modern rock styles. hope you are having a good day and a nice night. blazeman2005 |

|

Hey all, this is Richard from the Chicago,IL area. Few minutes ago i viewed that Heaven and Hell are coming back to the Chi-Town area again on Sat., Sept. 22nd to play the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates with Alice Cooper and Queensryche!!! And that tickets will go on sale for the general public on Friday, July 21st!!! Man alive, this show ought to kick some real ass. I missed the show they did with Megadeth on May 5th at the Allstate Arena but now i just need the $54.00+ misc. to go to this show in the N.W. burbs. Really hope Ronnie and Queensryche would actually go thru with playing "The Chase" from "Operation Mindcrime II", since thats the song that Ronnie sang on that LP for his part as Doctor X!!! Viewed & heard a lot of the U.S./Canda/and European live footage at Youtube and Ronnie singing abilities still sound great, even better than ever most of the time.
I can't imagine how Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler would be willing and interested in going back to the worn out vocal abilities of Ozzy after Ronnie has shown night after night that he's so way much better and that a whole lot more fans would totally pay to see Ronnie the the washed up Ozz-man at all. So give me a reply if you feel like it to let me know your perspective on this, keep on with H & H or head back into the studio and then the road again with Craig, Rudy, Simon and Scott??? |

I want to go to the show in Denver on Sept. 25 but can't find any information anywhere when tickets will go on sale. I went to ticketmaster and it said that they went on sale June 22. Is that site wrong or is the show sold out. Can't figure it out.
Any help appreciated. |

Thanks. Hopefully there will be some kind of tickets left when I can save the money to get them. At least now I know where to go. Thanks again,

The Falll North American Tour has been going for a while and I was wondering why it's so quiet around here.
I guess the set list has been the same for all the Fall U.S. shows except...
2007-09-07 Uncasville, CT had one less song-no Neon Knights
2007-09-09 Mansfield, MA had one extra song in the encore-Shadow of the Wind
I hope people will add to this thread if any other songs are played besides the 10 that have been the "regular" set at other shows for a while. |
