HEAVEN AND HELL — the new band featuring legendary heavy metal singer Ronnie James Dio (DIO, BLACK SABBATH, RAINBOW) alongside original BLACK SABBATH members Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler, plus drummer Vinny Appice (DIO, BLACK SABBATH) — has been confirmed for next year's Sweden Rock Festival, set to take place June 6-9, 2007 in Sölvesborg, Sweden. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

An exclusive New York City concert date for HEAVEN AND HELL in the spring of 2007 has already been booked but the exact details have not yet been revealed. Additional U.S. dates are being scheduled for late summer 2007.

That's great news! Can't wait to see the US dates. For any of you going I would recommend checking out Gov't Mule.

Hey , I thought Europe was going to be first  . Naa.. It's ok it's Dio former homestate.
I´m definately going to Sweden Rock! Kreator and Falconer rock, seen them before at Wacken + I´ve seen Motorhead 3 times there, not that big fan though. Any good band at SR will be an extra for me since H & H is enough. 50 bands to go! |

Annihilator, Dimmu Borgir & Meatloaf also play there.
Ozzy will headline Hultsfred festival which is close by and is like 4 -5 days later. |

Well, I've bought my really expensive 4 day ticket for the S.R. festival. It's probably worth it... 
Iced earth will be there too  some 30 acts are yet to be confirmed |

| I'd just like to say that H & H demolished Sweden rock. The sound was awesome and Dio just hit every note adequately! Same setlist as in Copenhagen. Tony's guitar solo on Heaven & hell was better than in Copenhagen. I was hoping they'd do an encore like Lonely is the word or... But it was a perfect jaw dropping show. |
