Live at Last!! H & H Live in Singapore!!!

Hi guys!! I am from singapore and have been a metal head for all my 37 years on earth. My fav band was Iron Maiden. Notice the operational word 'was'?? Yeah, coz they have not come over to my country all these years...and Black Sabbath with mr Iron Lungs, RJD is indeed coming to Singapore on 27 Oct to play a 1 nite only concert. For that I salute you guys!!! This would be the second time they played here. The last time thy came was in 1995 together with a vocalist who sounded just like Dio, a certain Mr martins...it was a cracker of a concert alright.
ANyway, hats off to Dio as the dvd Holy Diver was very good in my opinion. Now, for my concert tickets.....

First of all, welcome aboard!
As a moderator I had to move this topic from Black Sabbath Talk to Tour Talk... however I'm glad you'll have the chance of seeing Heaven And Hell!!! You know, Black Sabbath (expecially with Dio) are my favourite band ever and I'm doing my best to see them on November at Wembley Arena, so I can understand what you feel since you're going to see them in your country!!!

i hope dio will do well in singapore. i am also hoping eventually, bands lke maiden, helloween, loudness will also play here. (Loudness came way back in 1989, i think...mike vescera was on vocals). Malmsteen came here twice, so did metallica, scorps, europe, DP

hi

thanks. there a few bands coming to singapore in august 8, 9. But they are new, young guys like hinder, avenged 7fold, mxpx and sb band. Incidentally, the cure and cyndi lauper are also in the roster.
however, being ol schooled, i still long for helloween, gamma ray, maiden, msg, whitesnake,journey, ratt, warrant and such....

me too redbacks, me too!!! I live in an area that gets hardly any music so I take what I can get but I have to travel at least once a year for a good show or I go crazy!

hey purevel, its almost we know each other for a looonnnggg time altho i am in singapore and we live in different time zone, culture, religion and such. its funny how music can unite people regardless of language, race or religion. where are you from and how ol are you? i am 38, male, muslim with 3 kids and a wife. i am a school teacher and doing a master's degree right now.
