Van Canto is a German band that play Heavy Metal without any guitar, bass or keyboard: just five voice and drums. They call it Hero-Metal a Cappella.
I listened to them just one time and I won't listen to them anymore!!!!!!!
There's a drummer that, of course, play drums and there are five singers. Some of them play Guitar and Bass riffs with voice, and one singer or, sometimes, more than one singer, sing vocals parts.

I don't know, I actually really liked it! Barbershop speedmetal! Who would have thought it could work? 
You can't fault them for not being original, and sometimes the voices sound almost like guitar.

Yeah, this is true, they're really original! And sometimes, as you said, some voices sound almost like guitar.
Anyway, sometimes they say with their voice "Rakatakataa" and it make me laugh because it seems a Japanese word instead of a guitar riff...

Why don't they just sing "chunga, chunga, chunga!" Isn't that the sound heavy metal guitars make?
Or as my friend says, the main riffs of any rock guitarist are "fleedela-hadella, fleedela-hadella" and "lookit-me, lookit-me!"
