I love this song...and like many others it makes me think of a past love. My first girl friend...I never want to be back with her or anything like that but there is something there that cannot be matched by loves that follow.

I think, this song is worthy of more notice than it was in Rainbow. It's a very sad song, but I think it's a brilliant song in all Rainbow (and Ronnie Dio) works. As some people said, sad but true

I'll make it short...
13 years old, cutting, depressed, suicidal, sent her for help, she got worse, bad influences there, finally got her home, started to self destruct again, her father lives in Me*ico(my keyboard is f'd up), he said, 'send her to me', he sent her to another program way far down there, no contact since Christmas, she is turning 16 in May, I hear she is doing great, my heart is breaking-broken, just want her home, out of my hands, don't want to discuss it. Thanks for asking though. |

I love this song very much... sometimes it makes me cry, sometimes I remember all the guys I was in love with... and my first band broken away last summer. It always reminds about something beautiful that I had to leave there in the past.
(here is my own version of this song. I like it so much that I wanted to sing it, too, trying to add my own feelings and emotions. Don't shoot me, I ain't a guitar player, I'm just learning to play  )

The girl I loved she had rainbow eyes. Like, I need to say this somewhere. God I'm so stupid. One time she and I came face to face and all I fucking did was look at her body when I could have talked to her. Goddammit. I'm such an asshole. WTF was I thinking. And now she's gone and probably never knew I fucking existed. She's been gone since yesterday. Oh I didn't care. Never cared for yesterday. Summer nights are colder now They've taken down the fair.

yeah... I think the song (dont quote on this) is about breaking up (not sure) but for me it's about a girl in my high school, a friend of mine who i really love and want to ask out but she's DATING SOME DOU-~-CHE BAG IN UNIVERSITY THAT GUY CAN ROT IN HELL what is he doing with a 16 yo girl? fuckin asstard prbly ugly as hell- ut enuff of my anger

| it's a beautiful and sad song. I use to listen Rainbow eyes when I'm sad to increase my sadness but it's not insane, it's a way to enjoy sadness. Hey Obscene, not only blondies have rainbow eyes, try a dark hair woman, we are not that bad! |
