Rainbow Rising vs Heaven & Hell vs Holy Diver

Probley the 3 most Important & Perfect albums of Dio's career.
Which one do you like the most???

I like Rainbow Rising the most as Dio Ritchie & Cozy all contribute Their best for that album.
& with songs Like Tarot Woman & Stargazer it cannot be faulted.

Rainbow Rising is one of the best Hard Rock albums ever, while Heaven And Hell is my favourite Heavy Metal album ever. Holy Diver is, in my opinion, an awesome Heavy Metal album but it isn't my favourite ever.
So I cannot give an answer because:
I prefer Heaven And Hell to Holy Diver, but Heaven And Hell is Heavy Metal and Rising is Hard Rock and I'm not able to give an answer...

I prefer Rainbow Rising. The only weak song there is "Do You Close Your Eyes".

And it includes the masterpiece "Stargazer".

Well I've always thought Rainbow Rising to be honest but I did listen to Holy Diver today and was reminded how brilliant it was. I love Heaven & Hell too, especially Die Young Confused

Yup, Rainbow Rising. It did have my favourite drummer, guitarist and singer on it so the best lineup ever Twisted Evil

I vote for Heaven And Hell just because it's my favourite Heavy Metal album ever...
I think, as I said before, that Rising is Hard Rock, however there isn't a favourite one, to me, between Rainbow Rising and Heaven And Hell...

Holy Diver, no songs are filler or not my favorite like "Do Ylu Close Yuor Eyes" can be considered filler and there's a song on H&H I don't always like to jam too.

But, with songs like "Don't Talk to Strangers" HD gets my vote.

i dont think Do You Close Your Eyes is filler it was even in the Live set list.

I like every single song on it.

Rising was basically Stargazer, Light In The Black And Tarot Woman to me, the others weren't as strong.
I preferred the first Rainbow Album overall tbh.

The styles and the tone in which Dio sings on both these albums appeals to me better than Holy Diver. Which itself is a Goliath Colossus of an album.

To choose between these three albums is hard. All three albums are to me classics. I voted for Holy Diver because i find it's energy amazing.

Rainbow rising, Heaven and hell, Holy diver.
Three albums, one man. Incredible.
