It's ok, i find myself to be the same way over many things. It is good to have some control over it though.

| really i think of him alot and i'm reading about him on the computer and i start comparing him to me because i want to be like him.i'm even planing to grow my hair like him.and i have a good singing voice and when i sing Dio songs my other tells me that i immitate his voice really successfully. |

i imagine myself singing to Dio when we meet and when i sing i try to bring the best of my voice as if he is listening to me right now.
oneday i was listening to Heaven and Hell album and got to "Lonley is the word"and at the part where he sang "Take my hand,it's the only road i know"i really felt as if he took my hand. |

Singing along with records of really good singers is the best way to become yourself a really good singer, apart from taking lessons which I recommend if you're serious. If you're not careful, you may be rocking the charts soon yourself - first Jordanian girl-led heavy metal group to storm the world!

| my bed is in a corner of the room so the wall beside me is covered now with Dio drawings (i'm good at drawing)and song lyrics for Elf,Rainbow,Black Sabbath(the Dio era),and Dio...and i'm still not finished.i think tomorow i'll write mopre 4 songs.and i really draw them good on the wall they look wonderful.my OBSSESSION is getting bigger and bigger... |

D-Man is right. I have often said that I learned to sing by singing along with Dio songs. I even said it in an interview I did with a newspaper back in 94 when I was on tour in the US. I really started singing much earlier, but I credit Dio with my inspiration to be a Metal singer.
Other singers that I have great respect for and love to sing are Ian Gillen, Ray Gillen, Steve Perry, Chris Cornell,Claus Meine.... These singers have certain aspects of their voices that are very hard to duplicate. If you can get close to sounding like them when you sing along, you will develop into a great vocalist.
I also studied Opera when I was thirty two, and it did help me to redefine the way I sing now, but its those Metal guys that still get me pumped
