You should definitely get that one. Absoloutely brilliant, although Coverdale definitely sounded better he puts in a great performance - as does Page. |

1987 so fucking legendary album! One of the best albums in the whole universum. David is all time greatest singer (even better than Dio. My opinion, don't get mad).

Great song Too Many Tears....but greatest singer
I don't know when you last heard David singing but he can't really sing anymore...as the Voice of Reason once said...''its like a parrot on helium'' nowadays...forget about the live stuff on cds...they are touched up!...face to face at a gig...he has lost it...he shouts and screams through everything now.
And as for 1987...I don't know about being the best cd in the world I like John Sykes...but there is only a few good songs on the cd...Still Of The Night and Looking for love....the rest are not up to par and the new versions of Crying the Rain and Here I go again I don't like....but I am a fan of Classic Whitesnake...so each to there own. |

He cant be that bad, i mean the people on video clips and on the DVD look like are havin fun,so he cant sound that awfull.
on the In The Still Of The Night DVD he sounds awsome they may have done some touching up but they cant make someone with an awfull voice sound as good as that. _________________

Forget about dvds and cds...when you are at the show...its nothing but a wall of noise...DC is not very good live...I have been seeing Whitesnake since 1979...I will never go back to a Whitesnake concert ever again...every year his vocals get worse...you got to believe me I am a fan of DC...I have see them many many times...and he will always have a stage presence but he's got to stop shouting and screaming through all of his songs...shouting is not singing...in my book, but when he brings the volume down and sings the likes of Soldier of Fortune..he is amazing....if you don't believe me...check him out next year becoz Whitesnake will touring for sure but hey...I say ....I will never go back to see him...I know for sure if the set list for the 2008 tour is the new cd...I will be there...as I said ....I am a fan of Whitesnake...their songs mean a lot to me from the early cds...and when it comes to charm and charisma on stage...DC is very hard to beat. |

Premier Guitar conducted an interview with WHITESNAKE/ex-DIO guitarist Doug Aldrich at this year’s winter NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) show, which is being held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Watch the two-minute clip below.
The new WHITESNAKE album, "Good To Be Bad", scheduled for release in the spring of 2008, will be the group’s tenth studio record and will feature the exceptional percussive talents of Chris Frazier, the latest member to grace the ranks of the band alongside Doug Aldrich on guitar, who also co-wrote and co-produced the album with David Coverdale and Michael McIntyre, Timothy Drury on keyboards, Uriah Duffy on bass, and Reb Beach on guitar. Chris takes over the drum chair from Tommy Aldridge, who last year left to pursue alternate musical adventures.
The interview:
