I'm trying to put off buying The Dio Years because I just spent a lot of money on concert tickets to see H&H...and I promised myself I wouldn't buy any CDs for a month.
Anybody get a chance to listen to 'Ear in the Wall' or 'Shadow of the Wind'? What do you think? _________________ Weird thoughts that don't work,

I like the both, "Shadow in the Wind" takes the cake for me as the best song. Really great! _________________

| I think that "Ear In The Wall" is probably the best song performance-wise, but "Shadow Of The Wind" easily, IMO, has the best lyrics of the three new ones. |

fuck yeah i heard "the devil cried" over a week or 2 ago on sirius radio and instantly started headbanging the riff and vocals are awesome
dio and iommi bring out the best in each other, and i hope one day dio/iommi/butler/appice put out a whole album under any moniker sabbath or heaven and hell because this is too good to keep only to a tour and 3 songs
anyway the best song IMO is "ear in the wall" that is awesome
shadow of the wind is also great, the cd is worth it for those 3 songs alone _________________ they'll take your diamonds and give you steel youll be caught in the middle of the madness lost like them and part of all the pain that they feel AND ALL THE FOOLS SAILED AWAY- Ronnie James Dio |

| Ear in the Wall was great. The other two were heavier versions of songs off of Master of the Moon, with less melody and more sludge, thanks to Toni. |

I think I may change my opinion to "Ear in the Wall" after getting the Dio years disc. I like the guitar a bit more than "Shadow of the Wind". _________________

I held off on listening to them until my disc comes in. How's that for self control? _________________ Sit on it, Potsie. |

Coffee does that to you too? I've never understood that. |

Oh yeah!
I noticed your sig. talks about the big bunny and the eggs.... The story behind that comes from the spring goddess Eostre who, it is said, saved a bird whos wings had frozen in the winter, by turning it into a rabbit, but because it had once been a bird it could still lay eggs. Ancient folklore. Nothing at all to do with Christ! _________________ GUITARGOD |
