So what do you think about the prices of the tickets???
I think the hole matter is out of control.. I mean the increase that we saw the last few years was huge...don't you think ? _________________ Video games are bad for you? That what they said about Rock 'n' Roll... |

I don't remember the way it was a few years ago...but the prices I've paid haevn't really been too bad. It makes you stop and think if the venue is worth it, seats, and if there is going to be enough music, but when I go I'd expect that anyway so it all works out *shrugs* _________________

People keep buying tickets, so I guess the prices are okay. Some shows are outrageous. I would have liked to have seen The Police. They didn't come to my town, but I could have gone to Houston or Dallas. But decent seats were $250. No thanks.
By comparison, my front row seat for the H&H show I'll be going to was $54. I thought that was a bargain.
Now, the insance markup by Ticketmaster and other brokers is another matter. And the outrageous parking fees... |

Yeah i understand your comparison...but
Just to inform you Heaven & Hell in Greece is 80 euro (around 100$) and for the same festival the next day Metallica want 100 euro (around 125$) !!! So if you want to see both of them is 225$
Those prices are not for front row seats. _________________ Video games are bad for you? That what they said about Rock 'n' Roll...

I don't have a problem with price tickets...its value for money to that person...I got my F1 British Grand Prix tickets for 2 costing around £1800
That does not include travelling...but this hospitality, pit lane suite and is for Saturday and Sunday...I love this sport...and its only once a year...but when Whitesnake was in Scotland...I paid £33 a ticket...and afterwards...I did not think...I got value for money. |
