| Reem, I continue to be amazed at your knowledge of music. You know more about all these bands than I do, and I was alive then! The fact that you know who Magnum was blows me away - my band played one of their songs in college, and it was obscure then iin 1983! |

Hi Reem
I am a great Wishbone Ash fan - i have seen them 3 times, the last being November last year. Argus is their best known album but also try Pilgrimage, Just Testing, Live Dates 1 and 2, No Smoke Without Fire and New England.
I also love Iron Maiden and Steve Harris has said that Wishbone were a big influence on Maiden. |

| Your right Reem, they are totally different - i grew up listening to Wishbone Ash and it meant a lot to me in a emotional way, first girlfriend etc, if you know what i mean. Iron Maiden i knew about but didnt listen to them properly unitl mid 1990's. Maiden are very heavy, Wishbone more blues/folk orientated. If i had to choose one over the other - dont think i could it!!!!!!! |
