| I used to love the Rainbow album with Man on the Silver Mountain on it. The whole album was great, and was some of the most melodic singing Dio ever did. Of course the title track was awesome, but the song Black Sheep of the Family was always one of my favorite RJD tracks ever because of the strong melody. The strongest notes ever sung. |

I love that album... all songs are great!!! Anyway the album isn't called Man On The Silver Mountain, it's called Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow...
My favourite tracks from that album are (without any order): Man On The Silver Mountain, Catch The Rainbow, Sixteenth Century Greensleeves, Still I'm Sad and Temple Of The King. Anyway, the hole album is wonderful!
Magic!

I have to say I love ALL the Rainbow albums with Dio on vocals. There simply hasn't ever been, nor will it be, a better band!!!
Of these albums, Rising is my favourite. |

I especially also love the live version of "Kill the King" from Rainbow Live. I used to have an import version of that. Got to find it again. I loved also how he sang "Get down with Fiy-ya!" on that album and in my old band we always used to immitate that.
Loved Black Sheep because it was so un-typical of RJD's songs - almost country, but it rocked! |

I watched the entirety of "Live In Munich" one hell of a show, I almost burst out laughing at the incident involving Blackmore on the previous show.
Remember when Ronnie says: "This for one of the greatest the people in the world, The Ox"
There was a debate not too long ago about that, One of the members of The Who goes by that nickname but if you listen carefully to the Bob Daisely interview on the DVD he says there was a roadie by that name and he took a hell load of punches for blackmore when the coppers tried to smash him in after he got caught.
You probably know this already but it's a fun thing to state.
I'M THE MAN ON THE MOUNTAIN, MAN ON THE SILVER MOUNTAIN!
ftw. |

| Blackmore got arrested for kicking the Hall Manager's face in when he was having a fight with a young girl in the front row of the audience, broke his jaw, unfortunatly the bloke knew all the coppers in that town (Not Munich) so what the band tried to do was smuggle Blackmore out in the drum cases (ROFL) the sniffer dogs caught him and he got thrown in the slammer for 3 days or so, he got out and was 3 hours late for the Munich concert. |

| It's on the DVD, Bob Daisely just tells some of his stories in the interview, it's on bonus features. |
