For the love of god, pick up everything by them. (except non-Halford era; Ripper was good- but the songwriting wasn't.)

Definitely get all the original Priest stuff you can, and, if you get a chance, see them in concert. You will not regret it. They are one of the best bands to see live-ever.

Once and for all: Rob Halfor is NOT gay.

(also, Kermit the Frog is purple and the Pope is a Shintoist)

i want to let you know GuitarGod that my father is like no other, he is not like those who forbid you to listen to certain kind of music like rock for example(a lot of parents do that with rock) no. on the contrary(he salutes this music) it's his fault that i'm a fan of Rock.

ok im probley one of the biggest priest fans on this board so here is the lo down.

Judas Priest have 4 main era's 70s 80s ripper years and of coarse now.

70s is maybe thier best era i would reccoment gettin sad wings of destiny albem as its maybe one of the greatest albems of all time.
also stained class is awsome.

the glory 80s were priest were a huge band, especily in the U.S.
i would reccomend 3 albems from the 80s as they are so brilliant.
British Steel,Scrreaming 4 Vengence, Defenders Of The Faith.
IMO Britsh Steel is probley just as important to metal as the first Sabbath albem.

90s is not the best time for priest or metal. 1 bloody amazingly heavy albem from priest called Painkiller.
then that would be the last of the 90s with Rob
Ripper is brought in to replace him if you have seen the fim film rock star its kind of based on priest.
priest had to change their sound to a much heavier sound they did 2 studio albems together. they are really good but not great.

Then in recent years priest have reunited with Rob the priest is back, the Angel Of Retribution albem was just awsome its how priest were ment to sound.

Any way priest are at the moment working on their new concept albem Nostradamns i think its going to be a double so that should be interesting.
they are probley going to be playing the whole thing live as well.

The great thing about priest is that nearly every albem is compleaty diffrent not all the same old thing just how i like it.

And Rob Halford IS GAY but who cares its the voice that matters.
i mean if Dio was gay would you give a shit i no i wouldent.

so enclosing Long Live The Priest And Long Live Dio and Metal.

Why mention that he is gay...I don't see what that has to do with his music.
When we are talking about Dio or Davic Coverdale...we don't mention the fact they are straight.
I am just confused why it would be so important Confused
