| Ronnie James Dio has his own vocal style and he did in great job on everything he sang. Uriah Heep still sound great musicaly but , they have never been quite the same since David Byron passed away. They have such powerfull songs and I can only imagine how great they would be with Ronnie singing them with his razor sharp vocals. Uriah Heep could even bring back Ken Hensley. The Heaven & Hell thing is great and I can`t wait for the cd to come out and I hope they release a DVD Heaven & Hell 2007 . I am just a crazy fan with a crazy idea and man that would be awesome if a tour with Uriah Heep with Ronnie on vocals ever happened. |

| well you are like me i like both bands too, and i've been a fan of them since i was a child. both of them are different since Dio is harder and heavier than Uriah Heep , so i don't know what will come out if they played together. but i think it's importaned for different styles of music to combain. i'd like to see Dio with uriah heep. |

Some of Dio`s solo stuff is kinda like Uriah Heep dealing with demons, wizards, dragons, magic ect. Dio solo stuff is not much heavier than July Morning, The Magicians Birthday , Gypsy , Look At Yourself , Easy Living, Lady In Black Ect. Dio joined Deep Purple with the Orchestra and it was great. So here it is , Dio with Uriah Heep with Ken Hensley also with an orchestra. I am sure Uriah Heep can play their classics a little heavier if they were in a Monsters Of Rock setting also. Cheers! |

Wow! That is an interesting idea. Now you have me wondering what other, unique sounding vocalists would be good with them.
Geddy Lee?
Rik Emmett?
Your ideas? |
No way. Uriah Heep had their time as the
greatest hard rock band of the early 70's.
That was their legacy. No band could come
close to the Heep in their prime. The Magician's
Birthday is awesome! Way better than Purples
