I have written here asking the same question before.
I do an online radio show called 'Barefoot Radio.'
I'm not spamming.
I'm a HUGE DIO fan for a long time.
I'd love it if we could get the publisher's clearance to play Dio songs on my show. I would pimp it SO much. Honestly, it's the truth that I'm such a huge fan this would be monumental to me.
What do we have to do to get clearance? Is it even possible? Does Ronnie have rights to give permission?
I would love to hear it's possible. Honestly.
Help us unlock the music and introduce it to new generations finding it in new ways!!!!!

I agree with Dragon..pimp it is a term used my modern motherfuckers. Not real metal....
Used by People who either hold one chord down and play the guitar or those that only talk with a beat going on....you know, fuck up rap.

QUIT worrying about how he is expressing himself!!!Dude if you are serious about getting some airplay for DIO I would probably contact Management (AKA-Wendy, and company) directly. Maybe even contact the charity Children of the Night and see if you can get something going with them and RJD maybe some music followed by some free air time for the charity as well!!!!   |

How can I reach Wendy Dio directly?
We're not a 'basement' podcast.
We're building a network of shows.
I'm not some guy working in an apartment.
I would really love to promote Dio as an enthusiastic fan.

I would leave a message through the offical Dio myspace...and give her full details of what you are planning to do. |
