I understand....there are a few weirdos around here, but Mary can take care of herself. She's 6 foot, and NOBODY pushes her around. Her German/Blackfoot blood mix probably has something to do with that!

Girl, this is a one in a lifetime event! An Evening with Heaven and Hell, come on! It was a BIG hassle for me to go, considering everything, but I knew I would regret it FOREVER. You should reconsider, and pick up some 'Ebay' tickets, and go!

I think about going to the show in Vancouver all the time and was going to go, but when I found out it was general admission, I decided not to go.

I would have to be up front...no other way for me, so I would have to stand thru Downs set up, show and take down, Megadeath-who I don't care for-their set up and take down before H&H would come on. I would have to stand there no matter how bad I had to use the restroom or whatever.

I am so scared to fly and I would be going alone, so I don't think flying to NY by myself is something I could do. Then there is the whole child care issue, no family in the area, blah blah blah.

Do you think this tour will actually make it to the US like they say? I'm banking on that with all my heart and soul...litterally.

I'm hoping they do, of course...but if you want my honest opinion, they'll be 'lucky' to make all the ones scheduled so far. Remember the past! Those who fail to learn from history..blah, blah, etc.

THIS won't last! I'm VERY sorry to say!

I missed out on the 'An evening with Dio' show in London, as I talked myself into NOT going...hoping they'd do it here...BUT, I knew better then..and I know now...that's why I said to HELL with it, and go to NYC, that will be one VERY SPECIAL show!

Did they ever say that they were going to do "An evening with Dio" show in the states and didn't do it?

I wonder why you say they will be "lucky to make all the ones scheduled so far."

I want to go to one of the shows in Canada because it's a shorter flight...but it's also general admission on the floor..

I'm torn Confused Confused .

Their history, girl...are you familiar with their history during Black Sabbath MkII, and then the Dehumanizer era?
Tony and Ronnie are STILL the same folks..yeah, they're older, but they are still the same...I don't want to get into personal stuff here, but, if I were you, I'd plan on seeing them in Canada, or catch some of their shows in Europe.

Good LUCK!

Hi all,its been a long time since i posted here..there are only a few names i recognize from where i ws here in the past...anyway..i am most definitly going to the H and H show. I ended up with tix in the first mezzaine, the few that were left on the floor said "possibilty obstructed view"..i didn`t want that.
I had read that Megadeth would be with them and Down wouldn`t be at the NY show...but saw here no Megadeth in NY either? Thats ok with me..would love an extra long set.
When i saw they were playing an "special" show in Ny i thought it might be recorded for a cd/dvd..anyone hear anything about that?
I really wanted Dio to tour the here for the Holy Diver Live cd...but this show will make up for that Very Happy

No, I'm not aware of their history during that era. I don't want to get too off topic here, but has Dio cancelled many shows in the last few years?

As far as I know, Ronnie has NEVER cancelled a show, even do to illness...but that's NOT what I'm talking about..

Anyway...I guess it depends on how much you want to see this tour, play the odds of what happened when he was with these guys in the past. and wait for shows that 'HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN SCHEDULED YET' or make one of the current scheduled shows...

I know which one I would choose. Up to you...and GOOD LUCK!

I felt the same way...if they DON'T record this show they are missing a HUGE opportunity, but NO official mention has been made.

I hope to see you there. I think I've already posted in this thread where I'm seated.
It will definitely BE SPECIAL! Can't wait!

Just wanted to see if anyone was going to the show. I am going to try and get some from the presale & also Friday through ticketmaster online & at the local Kroger store where nobody goes for tickets. In hopes of getting good seats, I am usually on front row at clubs, gonna be different at Radio City. Was going to keep the better ticks & sell the others. Is anyone here going up to the show, it's a pretty good drive here from Kentucky. Our problem is finding someone familiar with New York & someone that will be sober for the drive to the hotel afterward. This is the show to go to because it will be the extra long set & who knows they might not be together come summer for the US tour. If it goes really well someone might through a monkey wrench in the machine to stop it, or ego's may clash again. Joe

I have seen all the boys up close in the past , but this show I just wanted to get in the door, so I have seats but not the best. RADIO CITY HAS WONDERFUL SOUND IN EVERY SEAT IN THE HOUSE. I will be at the show after 23 days of vacation at my friends place in las terranes , ,dominican republic.

Seat location: section 3RDMZ6, row D, seats 601-603

Just got my ticket for the NY show at an online reseller.. floor level 19th row one section off the middle for $170 (actually a pretty good deal for that quality of a seat, compared to the other prices I saw). Will be flying in from Wisconsin by myself cause no one else wants to shell out the cash to see it, but hell, like people have said before who knows if they'll hold it together until the Summer USA leg of the tour. I'm not old enough to have ever seen this version of sabbath (27) so I'm sure as hell gonna take the chance when it comes around. Will see you all there!
