Master of the Moon

Master of the Moon was an excellent album,
but doesn't anyobdy think that the title song could have been
better. My favorite is One More For the Road (or) The Man Who Would Be King.

But every time I play it, I just hit skip on Master of the Moon to get to The End of the World faster.
Am I alone in this???

The title song is Master Of TheMoon, and it's the best for a title song in my opinion. I see some people vote for shivers, that's a good song, but not a title song. My favorite songs are One More for the Road, The Eyes and In Dreams.

IMO, "Master Of The Moon" is the best title for that album...

My favorite songs are(in no particular order):Shivers,Man who would be King,The Eyes,One more for the road.
Master of the moon is not one of my favorites,but it´s a good TITLE for a album.

for the name of the album - MOTM is right. BUT - if you believe that the best song should be the title - Shivers. Shivers got my vote.

Well, as a title for an album - as I said before - Master Of The Moon is perfect, but if I have to tell my favourite song from that album, it is The Man Who Would Be King, both for the music and for the hidden meaning of the lyrics (which Ronnie explains in a lot of interview Very Happy

).

Shivers has a great groove. Love Dio songs that have grooves, get bored with so many slow plodding tunes.

Maybe it's just me.

I think Master Of The Moon was a perfect choice for a title song. It's my fave on the album and it's epic; exactly what a title track should be. It sounds good aswell. One More For The Road(another favourite) would've worked well too but it sounds too much like it's the final album or something.
